Homemade dog treats

Some people make their own baby food.  That's cool and all, and I can neither confirm nor deny that I have pinned some recipes on Pinterest (you know when you need to find it, you won't ever again).

But back to homemade baby food.  It's cheaper.  You can make as much or as little as you need.  You can freeze it.  But seriously, it's a lot healthier.

But, since I'm a doggy mommy, I made doggy treats.  Again, I found a recipe on Pinterest, and like any true baker, I made it my own.

It's really simple; flour, oil, water, peanut butter and carrot shavings.  Skipper just loves carrots.
I made balls, because I wasn't sure if Skipper would eat the square treat.  I think I'm going to keep the balls for him, and give away the bars.  I'd like to see what other doggies think of the treats.  As you can see, it made quite a bit of dog treats.  I think next time I'm going to cut the bars smaller.  But, Skipper loves them, so I'm a happy mommy.
