Welcome!

I know what you're thinking, "Why is she starting ANOTHER blog?"  It's simple really, I wanted to be able to share pictures and stories and whatever other doggy things come to mind.

I'm Amanda, in case you didn't know.  I am an ELL Specialist in Virginia.  I love to read (honestly, if you're seeing this, you probably know that already) and blog about my book adventures at maestra-amanda.blogspot.com.  I can be reached on twitter, @maestra_amanda

My husband is Aaron.  He is a lab assistant at the local hospital and is almost finished with his first year of nursing school.  He'll graduate with his RN in 2014.  He loves to flowboard (like seriously loves to flowboard), which is surfing and bodyboarding on a manmade wave.  He's a former national champion in bodyboarding.  He can be reached on twitter, @aaron_furman

Our dog is Skipper.  Skipper is an 8 year old Chihuhahua-Schnauzer mix.  We bought him at a flea market on the Illinois-Wisconsin border (yay 7 mile).  He likes to cuddle, run and bark.   He's generally a good boy, but has that "little man" syndrome.

We're planning on adopting another dog, a girl boxer.  So, this is also kind of a chronicle of  our puppy finding process.
